The Ojibwa Baraga Casino is located in the Keweenaw in Michigan's Upper Peninsula or U.P. The gaming venue includes a 40-room hotel, with all rooms being 100% smoke free, free wireless internet, casino bar, restaurant, sports bar & grill with dance floor, entertainment, bowling lanes, and pool table; special event facilities, RV Park, and indoor pool with whirlpool and a sauna.

The casino's 17,000 square feet of gaming space, which is divided between three separate areas, features about 300 slots including video poker, video reel, progressives, and a wide range of denominations. You'll also find eight gaming tables (depending on demand) which feature blackjack, pitch, roulette, craps and Let it Ride.

Ojibwa Baraga Casino is located on reservation land in Baraga County and is owned and operated by the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC). The tribe also operates the Ojibwa Casino Marquette in Chocolay Township, Marquette County.  The two casinos are about an hour and a half drive from the other. Both casinos are currently in the midst of expansion/renovation.

Gaming at Ojibwa Baraga Casino

Ojibwa Baraga Casino's 17,000 square feet of gaming space includes nearly 300 slots, including video poker, reel video, multi-reel, penny and progressives ranging in denominations from $.01 to $5.00. If live action is your preference, the Baraga casino's got you covered as well, with eight tables (varies depending on demand) featuring Blackjack, Craps, Let it Ride, Roulette, and Pitch.

The gaming space at the Baraga casino consists of two separate spaces, with the larger space housing newer slots, progressives (Sizzlers) Electronic Keno, table games, bathrooms, a large full-service bar that includes bar-top video poker machines, guest services, and right off that gaming floor, the Pressbox Sports Bar and Grill. The other space is actually two spaces in one and includes the cashier, more slots, bathrooms, and a self-serve beverage center where guests can help themselves to coffee and or fountain drinks.

While the casino has reportedly recently undergone a renovation, it still remains mostly dated and they have removed a lot of their customer favorites, such as Fort Knox.

Live Table Hours:  Daily 3pm - 2am - they change the table game hours quite often at the Baraga casino so you might want to check with the casino prior to visiting for an accurate listing.
