Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Pimlico Race Course is a thoroughbred horse racetrack that has been around since 1870. The track has a one-mile dirt oval, surrounding a seven-furlong (7/8 mile) turf oval and is owned by the Stronach Group and operated by the Maryland Jockey Club. Visitors enjoy daily simulcast racing in the Sports Palace. There used to be a variety of food and beverage options at the track, however, after May 30th (live racing), the Pimlico operation will not offer food and beverage service, according to the website. There are, however, vending machines with snacks, soda and coffee available.
The Preakness Stakes will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at Pimlico Race Course, while the 95th Black-Eyed Susan will take place on Friday, May 17th.

For visitors who take advantage of daily simulcast, there are vending machines with snacks, soda and coffee available. During live racing, the options expand (or used to, please check with the track) to include:
Terrace Dining Room: (2nd floor clubhouse) overlooks the track and offers four-star dining and an elaborate Sunday brunch during live racing.

Starting Gate Concession / Bar: (1st floor clubhouse)
Hours: Mon. & Tues. 11:30 - 5pm, Wed. & Thurs. 11:30am - 9pm, Fri. & Sat. 11:30am - 10pm and Sun. 11:30am - 7pm
The Smokehouse, Homestretch Bar & Pizza are all located at the grandstand and are opened Thurs. - Sun. & Mon. 11:30am - last race.
The Inside Rail is located at the 2nd floor grandstand and open Thurs. - Sun. & Mon - 11:30am - last race.
