The Royal Duke Hotel is located in the town of Okotoks, in Alberta. Born in August of 2011, the establishment has been around for some 83 years and was formally known as the "Willington." It was the cornerstone of social life and the place to go to meet friends in Okotoks and is quickly approaching the same status. The "Willie," as remembered by locals, was named after the Governor at the time and in 2011 received a European inspired makeover transforming the three storey brick building into a contemporary Hotel, Eastery & Pub.

Remnants of the Olde English remain, however, and can be seen in the Royal Duke's pub, restaurant and even in the private gaming room. The full-service restaurant is kid-friendly and offers both child and adult menus. The bar has 12, large, flat screen TVs, along with a tasty pub menu of its own. The private gaming room is equipped with about seven slot machines, as well as off-track betting terminals and drink service. There is also a billiards room with two tables. The charming hotel is simply and tastefully outfitted and each room has a historic feel.
