Update Oct 2022: The U.S. Department of Interior rejected the Vallejo casino proposal in 2019, however, a federal court has ordered a second review which is currently underway at the Department.

In October 2016, the federally recognized Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians announced plans to build a $700 million casino resort in Vallejo, California near Interstate 80 and Highway 37 Intersection. The project includes a 400,000-square-foot facility with a casino, restaurants, hotel and spa. A family entertainment center would follow which could include a movie theater, arcade and bowling alley.
