LATEST NEWS: After sustaining ongoing losses, Silver Dollar Casino in SeaTac is set to shut down this summer. Kirkland-based Maverick Gaming will close the property at the end of June, resulting in 65 layoffs, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed on April 21. The closure follows the company’s bankruptcy filing last year, after which it also closed four other card rooms in the Seattle region. Maverick Gaming currently operates roughly two dozen locations across Nevada, Washington, and Colorado.
