You'll find the 27,000 square foot South Philadelphia Turf Club is located just north of Citizen's Bank Park in the heart of the major league sports area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They've been open and taking action since 1994 and expanded in 2000. Sports fans attending nearby Eagle's, Flyers, 76'ers, and Phillies games stop in the off-track betting location before or after for a bite, to shoot the breeze and to place their wagers on live simulcast horse racing.
The venue is owned and operated by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, which also owns and operates Parx Casino and Racing in Bensalem, PA, and is one of the first locations in the state to offer sports betting.
The 2019 Live Racing Season is from January 1 – December 31 on the 1-mile oval racetrack at Parx Racing.
