UPDATE: On April 15, 2024, Suffolk OTB broke ground on a $210 million expansion (the first since opening in 2017) of Jake's 58 Casino Hotel that will see betting terminals double to 2,000, and parking, including a three-story garage, increase from 600 spaces to almost 2,000. The project also includes new pubs, restaurants and space for conferences and wedding receptions at Jake's, as well as a new 110,000-square-foot building behind the existing facility, which will house 1,000 new betting terminals, plus about 500 machines transferred from the current casino. Betting terminals are to be reduced to 500 in the current building, which will have new dining areas, while the hotel's 210 rooms also will be updated. Construction is expected to take at least two years.

The expansion was made possible after in July 2023, the Islandia Village Board unanimously approved owner Suffolk County Off Track Betting's new plan for Jake's 58 Casino Hotel to expand.

An adult-only property, Jake’s 58 (formerly Islandia Marriott Long Island hotel) is situated along the Long Island Expressway North Service Rd and 10 minutes from Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islandia, New York. The hotel, which receives mixed reviews, features 227 guestrooms offering modern amenities such as free high-speed internet, air-conditioning, a fitness center, indoor pool, and a convention center that covers a floor area of 18,656sq/ft. It also features a casual 190-seat restaurant and bar known as Bistro 58 serving modern American dishes and a wide array of beverages.

The spacious casino houses 1,000 modern video lottery terminals (VLTs) distributed over three gaming floors and approximately 100 electronic table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Roulette, and Three Card Poker. VLTs are linked to a multi-level jackpot system known as Copper Cash that can award a huge jackpot of up to $100,000. Apart from VLTs and electronic table games, players can also place bets on their favorite horses via OTB simulcasts and two Suffolk Off-Track betting kiosks. Bettors will enjoy watching a variety of live horseracing events via several flat-screen TVs situated in the OTB room.

Guests will find nearby attractions including Jones Beach and the Hamptons. New York City is only an hour's drive and Brentwood Country Club is less than 3 miles from Jake's 58 Hotel & Casino.
