Located in Chinatown, Las Vegas, there is nothing typical about The Golden Tiki, with its 4,000 sq ft split into four themed areas. The decor here is beyond different from anything you'll find in Vegas. There is a thatched-roof bar, a giant conch shell seating area, dancing hula girls, celebrity shrunken heads, totems, skulls, pirate ships, DJs and live entertainment on the weekends. The lights are always low at the home of "hot slots and cold drinks," and there are a million and one interesting things to look at while you enjoy bar-top gaming, an award-winning handcrafted cocktail menu, and something equally creative, such as the Surfboard Pupu Platter, on the eclectic food menu. Walking inside this retro/Polynesian delight is like transporting to an island in the South Pacific in the early 70s, black velvet paintings and all.

Visitors to this unique establishment can choose from five menus, each of which features equally unique offerings, with everything from Spam Musubi, Kalua Pig Sandwich and Surfboard Pupu Platter to Moa Moa Waffles, Lion's Head Meatballs and The Voodoo-That-You-Do Char Sui (Smoked Baby Back Ribs glazed with Hoison Lime sauce, sweet chunks of pineapple & sesame seeds). There are also cocktail and beer menus, which also run the gamut and include an impressive list of rum selections and craft beer. Seating in the venue's approximately 4,000 sq ft of space, includes the bar, booths, tables and a cozy lounge area.
