WarHorse Gaming, a subsidiary of the Winnebago Tribe’s Ho-Chunk Inc., has partnered with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association to operate casino gambling at Horseman's Park in Omaha, Nebraska. An anticipated 18 months of construction will reportedly result in a casino, WarHorse Casino Omaha, with more than 1,300 slots, 20 table games, a sportsbook, and both live and simulcast horse racing. According to the official press release for the groundbreaking held on July 27th, 2022, the final build-out will also include a range of dining options, a sports bar, and a cafe. A substantial phased opening is expected in the second half of 2023. 

WarHorse Omaha operates a temporary casino inside Horsemen's Park, where sports betting began operating on Nov. 1, 2023.

On July 12, 2022, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for its WarHorse Casino Lincoln at the Lincoln Race Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.
