Update: The casino will be placed just south of the Beachwood Road roundabout with construction works aimed to start in the second quarter of 2020 and an opening scheduled for the third quarter of 2021.

The Canadian gaming operator, Gateway Casinos and Entertainment will be establishing a new gaming destination in the town of Wasaga Beach in Ontario, Canada. The location of the gambling venues is yet to be obtained, there are fiver possible locations and the operator has submitted once preferred option.

The gaming venue will feature 300 slot machines and an initial 120 seats at premium real money gaming tables.

The casino is expected to create over 400 permanent jobs for the residents of Wasaga Beach and it is also expected to generate revenue of $2 million per annum.
