Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa is located in Michigan City, Indiana, and is owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation. Full time gaming began on the property in 1997 and the latest expansion was completed in January 2009. This investment added 302 upscale rooms bringing the total accommodations to 486 rooms on 22 floors. It also added the Stardust Event Center which will hold 1,200 people, a 10,000 square foot retreat called spa blu, and two Las Vegas themed restaurants bringing the total Blue Chip dining opportunities up to 5 venues.

The "riverboat" casino itself covers 65,000 square feet on a single level and holds 1,946 slot machines and 42 table games, and 8 poker tables.
