The former Harveys Lake Tahoe is undergoing a $160 million transformation and rebranding as Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. The renovation reportedly includes updates to both hotel towers -Remus and Romulus - casino floor, and dining options and is expected to be completed in its entirety in 2026. 

The property will stay open throughout the transition, with July 1, 2025 marking the official debut of the Caesars Republic name. The transformation is well underway, and guests can expect major updates to roll out this summer, including a brand-new hotel tower, reimagined lobby, new slot machines, standout restaurants, and the first phase of a fully redesigned casino featuring a new High Limit Room and World Series of Poker Room.

Owned by Vici Properties and operated by Caesars Entertainment, Harvey's Lake Tahoe holds the distinction of being the first casino resort built in Lake Tahoe (Stateline) way back in 1944. The sprawling property is situated on the Nevada side of the border with California, on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe—North America’s largest alpine lake. It is an incredible location and the original owner had great foresight. This property gives some of the finest views of Lake Tahoe and offers visitors a true resort vacation experience.

The 1.6 million-square-foot resort features approximately 88,000 square feet of gaming space and more than 750 slot machines; nearly 100 live-action table games as well as Northern Nevada’s first restaurant by Chef Gordon Ramsay, HELL’S KITCHEN, and Lisa Vanderpump’s Wolf by Vanderpump. 

In addition to 742 guestrooms there are several restaurants, a spa and fitness facility, excellent golf courses, indoor and outdoor entertainment venues, a comedy club, pool, and plenty of nightlife options.

The restaurant is located in the middle of the action adjacent to Harveys main casino floor.  Similar to the other HELL’S KITCHEN restaurants, design and menu elements were pulled directly from the long-running hit FOX reality show.
