Update: The main hotel casino at the Westside City Project, which is located in Manila’s Entertainment City zone and surrounded by City of Dreams Manila, Okada, Solaire, with a footbridge linked to Ayala Mall, was originally expected to commence operations in 2023, but the company developing the hotel casino project, Suntrust Resort Holdings, recently postponed the opening until early 2025.

Part of the Westside City development in Manila’s Entertainment City precinct, the hotel and casino will upon completion feature 281 gaming tables, 1,126 slot machines and 134 electronic table games. Other property amenities will include 475 luxury hotel rooms, a pool deck, spa, wellness center, a ballroom and MICE space, multiple theaters, a “grand opera house”, a food mall and four cinemas.

Westside City, a 31-hectare leisure and entertainment township, will be located in Entertainment City in Parañaque, Phase 1 of the project will cover 12 hectares and will include four hotels; the Okura Hotel Manila, The Westin Hotel Manila Bayshore (Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Group) along with the Genting Grand and Crockfords Tower and Kingsford Hotel (Genting Hong Kong Group). It is estimated that the hotels will offer 1,500 rooms. Among other amenities, visitors will be able to enjoy is entertainment in a 3,000 seat grand Opera House. When open it will complete Entertainment City joining 3 other integrated resorts. Having adjusted the master plan for its property, Alliance Global Group Inc.(AGI) targeted the last quarter of 2020 for completion of Westside City.

The project was previously called Bayshore City Resorts World, but due to the development's location on the west side of Metro Manila, was renamed Westside City. In October 2014, Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., a partnership between Alliance Global and Malaysian conglomerate Genting Group, broke ground for the project.
