Located on M22 in Peshawbestown, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay, Leelanau Sands Casino is owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and part of Grand Traverse Resorts, along with sister casino Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel in Williamsburg. 

Property amenities include a cozy 51-room lodge (renovation completed in June 2025), most featuring private balconies or patios with woodland views, situated adjacent to the casino and the Sands Showroom, the property's 1,000-seat entertainment venue. The property also features a sit-down restaurant and deli, as well as a full-service bar.
