LATEST NEWS: Little River Casino Resort announced on Feb 10, 2026, that its latest round of renovations is in the final stages, with most of the work now complete. According to the resort, which is owned by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, the updates are designed to enhance comfort and elevate the overall guest experience. The remaining work is expected to wrap up by April. Also scheduled for completion in April is a new smoking gaming area that will feature slot machines for those seeking a tailored gaming environment.

The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians has begun a months-long renovation project at its Little River Casino Resort in Michigan’s northwestern Lower Peninsula. Launched in September 2025, the seven-month effort aims to give the 26-year-old property an updated, “upscale” look. 

The work will focus on overhauling the gaming floor and dining spaces, replacing older slot machines with new games, and updating paint, carpet, lighting, and other interior finishes. The affected areas were last refreshed about seven or eight years ago.

Opened in 1999, Little River Casino Resort features more than 1,100 slot and video poker machines, table games, a 292-room hotel, a 95-space RV park, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, three restaurants, and a bar.

 

Little River Casino Resort is located just off the Chippewa Highway at 2700 Orchard Highway in Manistee, Michigan. Opened in 1999, the sprawling property is owned and operated by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. The complex includes a 292-room and suites northern lodge hotel, with a private fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub and spa & salon. Visitors will also find two shops, an event center, three eateries, two bars, a 95-space RV Park and so much more.

The tribal casino offers over 40,000 square feet of gaming space, featuring more than 1,100 slots and video poker machines, including over 50 machines in the High Limit Room and approximately 30 gaming tables.

The casino is open 24 hours.
