LATEST NEWS: The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes officially broke ground on a new Lucky Star Casino resort in Elk City, Oklahoma, on July 24, 2026. Located at 327 S. Eastern, just south of Interstate 40 and west of Walmart and Hobby Lobby, the development will replace the former convenience-style casino with a full-scale gaming, hospitality and entertainment destination.

Planned across four phases, the project will begin with a 56,000-square-foot casino featuring 750 gaming machines, a food court and a steakhouse. A 65,000-square-foot hotel will offer 100 guest rooms, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

Phase two will introduce a full convention center, a family arcade and an outdoor pool. The third phase will add a full-service convenience store, a dedicated truckers lounge and additional support facilities. A purpose-built RV park for long-stay guests will complete the development during phase four.

Once finished, the expanded Lucky Star Casino resort will provide Elk City with a broader regional destination for gaming, overnight accommodations, dining, events and family-friendly recreation. This is the Cheyenne and Arapaho's eighth project.
