In October 2024, the Ione Band of Miwok Indians broke ground on Acorn Ridge Casino, a 60,000-square-foot gaming venue in Plymouth, Amador County, California, after 20 years of negotiations. Set on 228 acres of ancestral land, about an hour's drive southeast of Sacramento, the $110M boutique casino with a 25,205 sq-ft gaming floor, features 484 slot machines, 12 table games, a restaurant and bar, plus a grab-and-go and a 372-seat outdoor entertainment venue. Acorn Ridge Casino opened on February 24, 2026.

While there isn't an attached hotel, lodging can be found at the Oak Ridge Inn, just a two-minute walk from the casino. Also owned by the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, the 46-room hotel has an outdoor pool, business center, meeting rooms, banquet hall, a garden and more.
