Owned and operated by the Prairie Island Indian Community, Treasure Island Resort & Casino is a full-scale destination in Welch, Minnesota, about 40 miles from the Minneapolis–St. Paul Twin Cities. 

The property features a 788-room hotel, the second largest in the state, spread across three towers. The newest addition, the Buffalo Tower, opened in February 2026, expanding guest accommodations and modern amenities. Visitors can unwind at the full-service spa, enjoy the indoor water park with its lazy river, toddler zone, and adults-only area complete with swim-up bar and hot tubs, or spend time at the on-site bowling alley and arcade.

Dining options range from a buffet and classic steakhouse to a casual, family-friendly restaurant serving breakfast all day. Nine bars and lounges provide everything from relaxed cocktails to high-energy nightlife. Live entertainment takes center stage at the Island Event Center and the Treasure Island Amphitheater. Beyond the main resort, guests will find a 94-pad RV park, 26 tent sites, 20 campsites, a marina, an 18-hole golf course, and a gift shop.

The 116,000 sq ft gaming floor is arranged over eight distinct gaming areas and offers more than 1,800 slot, video poker and video keno machines, a high limit slots area, alongside 40 table games, a seven-table poker room spreading Texas Hold’em, and a 500-seat high-stakes bingo hall featuring both traditional and electronic games. 

The parking lot now has charging stations for electric cars.

Treasure Island Casino's spacious 116,000 square feet of gaming (inc.eight separate gaming areas) features more than 1,800 multi-denomination slots, including specialty slots and classics such as Captain Blackjack as well as hot new slots like Tim McGraw, Willy Wonka-World of Wonka, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and more!
