The Gold Coast Casino is located just off the Las Vegas Strip. It’s been around for sometime now.  All of the rooms include 32 inch flat TV’s. One nice feature at the Gold Coast Casino is their free shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip. There is no need to spend your hard earned money on taxis. Simply hop in the nice and comfortable shuttle bus and zoom away to the Las Vegas Strip.

The Gold Coast Casino is located about one mile from Chinatown. In Las Vegas, Chinatown is not a huge area. It’s small and concentrated. If you love Chinese food, make sure you check out some of the places in China town if you feel a bit of wander lust - but there's really no need to with an Asian station at the buffet and two Asian restaurants in house. The proximity to Chinatown might also explain why there are 14 baccarat tables and 5 Pai Gow poker games here.

The rooms at the Gold Coast Casino are very nice and affordable. They offer around the clock room service. For those needing Internet access, all rooms offer both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. The rate for wired Internet access is $12.99 daily. It’s not too pricey considering the cost of everything else, but it might be a deal killer for some. Of course, you pay for it one way or the other. Many other places simply add it in the room rate, but some include it in the resort fee. Parking is never an issue. All guests receive free valet parking, or may park their own cars if they wish.

The Gold Coast Poker Room has been moved to The Orleans.

The Gold Coast has 8 tables of limit and no-limit action in a non-smoking room.  The room is open, but located in a back corner of the casino so it's not too noisy.  The tables and chairs are in good shape and there are auto-shufflers on the tables.  There is no eating at the tables, and the room is equipped with 6 plasma screens that are easily seen from the tables.

Tournaments are offered daily at 10a, and 6p.  Ring games and tournaments are both 10-handed.

Cortez Room

Reservations are requested when you dine at the Cortez Room, and with good reason. Although an informal venue, you may find yourself wishing you had made a simple phone call to enjoy the great prices and excellent fare. Of course you might get lucky, and it's always worth a try at the last minute, but it is always better to plan for fork tender prime rib, juicy steaks, and succulent seafood.

Ping Pang Pong
