The Taj offers the second largest poker room in Atlantic City with 75 poker tables and another 14 tables in the tournament area.  The Taj spreads all types of games including no limit and limit Hold' Em, Stud. Stud hi-lo, Omaha hi-lo and Omaha (wait times vary; weekends can be 15 min+) and run at least two tournaments daily with a nice structure; see the schedule above for details.

The Taj Poker Room has recently been upgraded as of May 2016. Additions include more tables, more games spread, new promotion and a player friendly atmosphere.

• $1/hr for 3/6 & 5/10
• $2/hr for 10/20 & 15/30
• $3/hr for 20/40
• $4/hr for 30/60 and higher

Each Sep-Oct, the Taj hosts the United States Poker Championship; it's a series of events that culminates in a $10,000 buy-in event that typically draws almost 300 top players.
