Impressions: This room is a kick. Been here twice with some buds, and it like something out of ancient Vegas times. First of all it is a "smoking" room. There are no auto shufflers, and lots of good natured fun among a regular group of good players. Nothing fancy, no flash, a real hoot! Give it a try. Bottom line is that it is quite a great place to play. Players range from local cowboys to Rolls Roycers. Just leave your pretensions outside and play poker.Only problem could be the smoke!!
Atmosphere: Only four tables, which were ancient. Chairs were padded and OK. The worn Chips must have been bought by Bugsy Siegel.Does this get your attention yet? I smoke, so it was OK for me. I was tipped off about room from some buds, and would not have missed experience.
Dealers: A group of pros, that know their business. They will even jump into a game, when they are off duty. A wonderful bunch of dealers, who have to be particularly good without the auto shufflers.
Food: Nice bunch of ladies that cater to your every whim. They are quick, efficient, and, on a whole, pretty attractive. There is a pizza place right by the poker room, where you can get some food.
Service: Room is run easy, mostly by dealers themselves. With only 4 tables there is no problem. Everyone seems to be good natured and aim to give the players a good time. I was lucky, both times here, and got seated in a few minutes.
Comps: A dollar out of the pot for high hand jackpots while I was here. Also food coupons were given out for pizza place.
