Hooters Casino Hotel Las Vegas Poker Room

Overview

Part of OYO Casino Hotel Las Vegas

Hooters offers one of the few smoking rooms in Las Vegas.   The new room  has 2 tables of poker action.  Tournaments are offered daily at 10a Mon- Fri and at 7p on Mon night, there's a HORSE tournament with a $40 entry fee.

Players can call from your room to get on the list, but there is no direct line to the poker room.

The tables are in good shape with autoshufflers.  Chairs are fixed leg.  There are two easily visible plasma screens and the room is located right next to the bar for fast drink service.

Comps are given at the rate of $1 per hour and an entry into the freeroll tournament for 10 hours of play.  You can use your comps to eat at the table or go to Hooters just a few steps away...hmm.

Impressions: Poker, Hooters girls, alcohol...I had a good time.
Atmosphere: There is an enclosed room and exposed area so people are watching from behind when you are outside. If you are ok with that it's not bad. The tables have the wood edge along the top of the felt which I am not a big fan of.
Dealers: Dealers were friendly and competent. No complaints. Also, the staff was very nice.
Food: Drinks are right next door so the service is fast. Hooters is a few steps away!
Service: No electronic sign-up but the seating was fast. You can call from your room, but there is no direct line. I played 1/2 (no wait).
Comps: $1 an hour for comps. 10 hours of play gets you into the freeroll.

Impressions: I wasn't impressed with anything really.
Atmosphere: Tight space, even for only three tables. The chairs were average and the tables were ok. The room is not as nice as any other Vegas rooms I've been in.
Dealers: They seemed less professional and knowledgeable than average.
Food: Drink service was slow.
Service: I got a seat quickly but the management didn't seem organized.
Comps: Don't know, didn't ask.
